DISCOVERING FOOD IN POOLE

Da Vinci's Italian Restaurant, located on the picturesque Poole Quay, is a family-run establishment that has been delivering exceptional Italian cuisine since 1993. With a commitment to utilising fresh, local produce, this restaurant is the essence of authentic Italian dining.

Owner Nico is passionate about the culinary experience he provides, offering engaging service that fosters a loyal customer base, returning year after year. With extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Nico ensures that every guest feels valued and welcomed. With a first class wine knowledge, we had a wonderful suggested pairing to suit both our palate and the recommended dishes. This attention to detail in the front of house superbly compliments the flavour and presentation of our dishes.

The menu features a variety of classic Italian favourites, but for those looking to expand their palate, Nico is happy to provide personalised recommendations for dishes you may not have tried before. We had a sample of wonderful starters all recommended by Nico, even one not on the main menu! For blue cheese enthusiasts, the Salame al Forno is a must-try that promises to impress.

During our visit, we opted for pasta as our main courses, selecting the traditional Carbonara and the spicy Linguine Crazy Alfredo. As the name suggests, the latter offers a delightful kick of heat. Nico offered to share the pasta dishes between us, allowing us to savour both options—each was delicious in its own right!

Da Vinci's Italian Restaurant stands out for its quality, authenticity, and inviting atmosphere, making it a great choice for both locals and visitors seeking a memorable dining experience. Now the weather is improving, take the opportunity to dine Al Fresco at Da Vinci's, and watch the world go by on the quay.
